Many times people can find themselves in a situation that makes it difficult for them to prepare their own meals - whether it is due to physical limitations or temporary illness, this can be a problem for many individuals. Our staff can assist in preparation or take complete responsibility for delicious, healthy home cooked meals that will be individually prepared based on each clients needs.
Houskeeping & Laundry:
Light housekeeping services such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, sweeping and mopping floors, making beds, organizing closets and drawers as well as full laundry services are available to each client.
Shopping:
Our caregivers can escort the client to the store for groceries, medications or any other items they might need. The caregiver can also do the shopping with out the client being present.
Grooming & Dressing:
We can bathe, wash, dress and fully prepare the client for a days outing or just a freshing up before lunch.
Daily Phone Calls:
Phone calls to your house bound loved one is ideal for someone who might not need the assistance of a caregiver on a daily basis but still enjoys a good conversation during the day. This service makes it easier for busy family members who may feel guilty about not being able to contact their loved ones every day.
Family Communication:
The family is always kept in the loop about the progress or problems the client is having. Our caregivers keep extensive notes regarding all phases of their visit to your loved ones. These notes can be sent to you daily or weekly by email or regular mail, or can be hand delivered right to your home or office.
Personal Assistance With Business Affairs:
Whether it is help with answering the mail, doing the banking or just making sure the bills are paid on time - we can set up a regular schedule of banking and mailings that will make the client feel at ease with their daily business affairs.
Extra Assistance in Retirement Homes & Long Term Care Facilities:
If you find your loves ones in a hospital or retirement home and would like to make sure they are getting the best care possible we can send a PSW to work with the staff to ensure a happier, healthier stay.
Respite Care:
Sometimes it can be overwhelming to take care of a loved one who needs constant attention and care. For this type of situation we provide respite care, a simple solution that gives the primary care giver a much needed break. Whether a few hours a week or maybe one or two days per week - time off from caring for your loved one can be a great benefit.
